About
Murphy Charitable Foundation Uganda has partnered with six public schools in Bukedea Town Council to support children who are struggling with foundational literacy and mathematics skills. Through the Bukedea Learning Lab, children improve their abilities through interactive, game-based, and play-based learning. The Learning Lab is an after-school program for children aged 6–14. After their regular school lessons, children come to the Lab from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Uganda Time) for a two-hour session focused on reading, mathematics, digital literacy, creativity, and confidence building. We currently support 80 children from six partner schools, with another 80 children expected to join the next
