Help build affordable homes and stronger communities with Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta! Our construction volunteers work alongside Habitat staff, skilled tradespeople, Crew Leaders, and other volunteers to help build safe, decent, and affordable homes for local families. No previous construction experience is required, we provide the training and guidance you need. Whether you are an experienced DIYer or have never picked up a hammer before, there is a place for you on our construction sites! Construction volunteers may assist with a variety of tasks depending on the stage of construction, including: -Framing and basic construction tasks -Installing insulation and drywall -Painting
