About
Join Willing Hearts as a volunteer and help prepare and deliver meals for people in need. Volunteer shifts are: 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Depending on the needs of the day, volunteers may help with: -washing and cutting vegetables; - packing and sorting meals; -food preparation; -meal deliveries using their own vehicle or public transport; -loading and unloading food and materials; -cleaning and resetting the kitchen and workspace; -logistics and operational support; -gardening and basic housekeeping; -sorting items for people in need; -washing Willing Hearts vehicles; -other work at the centre when needed.
