About
Our librarians are the heartbeat of the library and play the most important role in our community. As a librarian, you’ll meet like-minded families while promoting sustainable play in our city, on a timeline that works for you. We’d love for you to be part of our story. Time commitment: 5 hours once per month. We are open in the basement of Parkdale United Church from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays. Key responsibilities: Set up: Open the church and set out banners. Toy checkout and check-in: Use MyTurn lending software to receive reservation requests, prepare orders, and check-in, clean and reshelve items upon return. We have an iPad available for use, but most librarians prefer to use their
