About
At Rape Hurts Foundation, we believe that play is not a luxury. It is a tool for healing, confidence, and community. For children and young survivors of gender-based violence, trafficking, and displacement, sports and games offer a chance to reclaim joy, build trust, and learn teamwork. A simple game of football can teach a girl that she is strong. A relay race can show a boy that he belongs. A dance circle can remind a child that they are still allowed to be young. We are looking for passionate volunteers to help us run sports and games activities for children and youth in our shelter, school, and community programs.
