About
Home Nursing Foundation (HNF) Wellness Club @ Tampines 922 is looking for a volunteer to guide seniors in singing. You will teach simple vocal skills such as pitch, volume, and clear pronunciation in a supportive and relaxed setting. In this role, you will empower seniors aged 60 and above to find their voice, gain confidence, and express themselves through music. The sessions will lead to a showcase where seniors can take pride in what they have learned. By volunteering, you’ll make a positive
Eligibility
Minimum age 16 and above Able to sing and has previously learned singing through formal or informal training. Able to speak English & Mandarin (+ Malay would be a plus to teach Malay-speaking seniors) Able to commit weekly for at least 3 months or up to 1 year (12 lessons – Includes conducting 1 singing assessment + 1 showcase with the seniors at the centre's celebratory days). Attire : A volunteer T-shirt will be provided upon commitment. Skirts/bermudas ( must be below the knees) or long pants for bottoms.
