Eligibility
Minimum age 17 years old Able to speak in English. Additional language or dialect is a bonus Friendly, good listening and communication skills with an empathetic and caring nature Have the physical fitness and capabilities to support patients' limited mobility Register as a Volunteer at Assisi Hospice's VMS Volunteers are expected: Together with van driver, escort patients between their home and Assisi Hospice Day Care Assist with mobility of patients (eg, push patients in wheelchairs) Ensure patients' safety in the van Ensure patients' well-being in the van; which include assisting with symptomatic patients (vomiting, giddy) Alert driver in case of any emergency Attire: Dressed comfortable with covered footwear.
