How Uni X verifies opportunities

Uni X is built for school-age students, approximately 14-18. We use authoritative source evidence to decide what we can say about an opportunity, what remains uncertain, and whether it fits the Uni X student audience.

Source first. Missing stays unknown. Conflicts stay conflicted. Current authoritative opportunity evidence comes before an old Uni X value or an AI interpretation. AI can help structure and compare evidence, but it is not the authority for a fact.

We do not fill gaps with guesses

A fact can be proven, under review, conflicted or unknown. If the evidence does not establish a material fact, Uni X does not invent one simply to make an opportunity look complete.

Parental or guardian consent is preserved when authoritative source evidence establishes it. Uni X does not infer a consent requirement or process from age alone.

Age, eligibility and youth safety are separate checks

Uni X evaluates the volunteer eligibility stated by the authoritative source. We do not substitute beneficiary ages, generic youth labels or assumptions for volunteer age. Eligibility requirements and youth-safety rules are evaluated separately from whether the opportunity page itself is current.

CAS has a boundary

Uni X can classify opportunity facts against its governed CAS semantics. A student's school or CAS coordinator decides whether an experience satisfies that student's CAS programme.

Public discovery and private student work stay separate

Public opportunity discovery is free and does not require an account simply to browse public opportunities. Projects, Story and reflections, Moments and evidence, People and references, and Journey are private by default and are not part of public machine distribution.

One truth for people and machines

Product and machine surfaces must consume the same accepted Activity truth and must not independently re-scrape or reinterpret source evidence.

Infrastructure

Uni X runs on Lovable Cloud/Supabase. Infrastructure security capabilities do not replace Uni X's own access-control, privacy and public/private data boundaries.
